You lie fully clothed on the treatment table while Maria works from crown to feet. No massage, but calm and attention. If you are taking medication, have had an organ transplant or are being treated by a doctor, Maria advises against Reiki.

What it involves

During the pedicure treatment your nails are cut, thinned and polished where needed, and the cuticles are cared for. Maria also treats callus, corns, cracked skin and ingrown nails, so you can walk comfortably again.

Maria obtained her pedicure diploma with the diabetes certification in 2004. After years as a mobile pedicurist she opened her own salon in Zaandam in 2021, where every treatment takes place in peace and quiet.

    Intake and assessmentThe feet are disinfected and carefully assessed. Any complaints and points of attention are discussed beforehand.

    Careful treatmentNails are cut, thinned and polished where needed. Callus, corns, cracked skin and ingrown nails are treated with expertise.

    Finishing and aftercareThe feet are smoothed and cared for with foot cream.

Good to know

  • Every pedicure treatment comes with a three-week guarantee. If complaints remain during that period, they are resolved free of charge.
  • Do you use blood thinners, have diabetes or another medical background? Mention it at your first appointment so Maria can take it into account.
  • Every six weeks is common, but it differs per person. A punch card for five treatments costs € 165 and is valid for one year.
  • You pay afterwards, in cash or via Tikkie. Cancelling is free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment.

Reiki is not a massage: you keep your clothes on and lie quietly on the treatment table. Maria works from your crown to your feet, in a quiet room where nothing is expected of you. Above all, it is time for yourself.

The treatment takes place in the same calm, ground-floor home salon in Zaandam as the pedicure, by appointment only.

A full pedicure is not always needed. With a short treatment, part of the foot care gets attention, in a maximum of twenty minutes and for € 20.

What it involves

A short treatment is a shorter appointment for when you do not need the full pedicure in between. You agree with Maria beforehand which part suits your feet best.

A short treatment gets the same careful, hygienic approach as a full pedicure treatment, by a qualified pedicurist with the diabetes certification.

What it involves

For polish Maria works with Orly Breathable. If you choose gel polish, she uses Urban Nails: the gel polish is cured under the lamp and dry straight away, so you can put your shoes back on immediately.

A foot scrub and a nourishing mask are lovely additions to the pedicure treatment. You can choose them separately or combine them.

Dot painting workshop in Zaandam

In the Hart vol liefde workshop you learn dot painting in a small group: with attention for technique, colour and gemstone elixir. A chance to clear your head and work with your hands, with coffee, tea and something nice to eat.

What it involves

You learn to mix the paint to the right thickness for a clean dot, and you work on a neat and balanced dot pattern. Along the way you hear more about working with gemstone elixir and about the meaning of the colour you choose.

The workshop is perfect to do with friends or family, and also as a hen party. Because the group stays small, everyone gets personal attention.
