Salon Maria stands for expert foot care in a calm, personal setting. In 2004 Maria Boersma gained her pedicure diploma and her diabetes endorsement. After years of experience as a mobile pedicurist, she opened her own salon in Zaandam in 2021, where expertise, attention and calm come together in every treatment.

View pricesEvery treatment begins with time and attention. At a first appointment, Maria likes to hear whether you take blood thinners, have diabetes or have another medical background. It changes nothing about her careful way of working, but it is good to know.

Careful foot care with attention to healthy, well-tended feet: nails, callus, corns, cracked skin and ingrown nails. Every pedicure treatment carries a three-week guarantee.
A moment of calm and attention. You lie clothed and relaxed on the treatment table while Maria works from crown to feet using the Reiki method. No massage, but time for yourself.
Creative dot painting workshops in small groups of no more than six people. Attention to technique, colour and working with gemstone elixir, in a relaxed setting where coffee, tea and something nice to eat are a matter of course.
In addition to the pedicure: polish with Orly Breathable or gel polish from Urban Nails, a scrub or a mask.
Every pedicure treatment follows the same careful structure, so you know exactly what to expect beforehand.

The feet are disinfected and carefully assessed. Any complaints and points of concern are discussed beforehand.
{ Step 2 }
Nails are trimmed, thinned where needed and buffed. Callus, corns, cracked skin and ingrown nails are treated expertly.
{ Step 3 }
The feet are finished smooth and treated with foot cream. If any complaints remain within three weeks, they are resolved free of charge.

A pedicure treatment costs € 35, and a short treatment of no more than 20 minutes € 20. A five-treatment card costs € 165. Polish, gel polish, a scrub or a mask are available as additions. The workshop Hart vol liefde costs € 45 per person.
Every six weeks is usual, but it differs from person to person: some clients come every few months, others once a year. Everyone is welcome, men and women, young and older.

Cancelling is free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. For a cancellation within 24 hours or a no-show, 85% of the treatment is charged, because that time has been reserved.
A Reiki treatment takes about 45 minutes. You lie clothed on the treatment table. Do you take medication, have a transplanted organ or are you under the care of a doctor, for example for heart problems? Then Maria advises against a Reiki treatment. A broken bone must have been set first; Maria then does not work directly on the break. If you are unsure, talk it over beforehand.
A maximum of six people. Suitable for friends, family or a hen party. The workshop costs € 45 per person, including coffee, tea and something nice to eat.
Yes, three weeks. If any pain remains during that period, it is resolved free of charge.
