This is a translation of the Dutch original. If the Dutch and English texts differ, the Dutch text prevails.

This website has deliberately been kept simple. There are no advertisements, no visitor statistics and no profiling techniques on it. That is why no cookie banner is needed either.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file that a website places on your device. A website can also store data in your browser's local storage. No consent is required for cookies and storage that are only necessary to make the site work. For cookies that track your behaviour, consent is required.

2. What this website uses

• No tracking cookies. No record is kept of which pages you visit and no data is shared with advertising networks.
• Your cookie choice. When you choose in the cookie card what is allowed, the site remembers that choice in your browser's local storage, so the card does not come back on every visit. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings, also at the bottom of every page.
• Your place when switching language. When you switch between Dutch and English, the site briefly remembers where you were on the page, so you carry on reading at the same spot. This is kept in your browser's session storage and disappears as soon as you close the tab.
• Both stay on your own device and are not sent. Because they are needed for the site to work, they are always on.

3. What happens with services of others

• Online calendar. The calendar of Cal.com, the booking service of Salon Maria, is only loaded after you click on it yourself, or straight away if you allowed external services in the cookie card. Only at that moment can that service place cookies and see your IP address. Otherwise nothing happens.
• WhatsApp. If you click a WhatsApp button, you leave this website and WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy apply.
• Instagram. The link to Instagram opens the Instagram website; their own terms apply there too.

Fonts and images are loaded from this website itself, so no request goes to another party for them.

4. Deleting or blocking cookies

You can always delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. The site will simply carry on working; the cookie card will just appear again.
